Todd Easterbrook joins us this week where we talk about proposing a project and raising funding before your go out and create your work. In essence tipping the standard “create something – then sell it” model on it’s head.
Todd is a snowboard photographer based out of Whistler, Canada, spending most of his time in the backcountry he has shot for many great brands and been published by almost every snowboard publication from Canada to New Zealand and back. It’s always great talking with Todd, this time we pushed the record button and chatted about the process of getting paid from snowboard photography and climbing the “Ladder” from shooting your friends, to publications, to brand team photographer and what that process looks like.
